Pet Urns Generally, one will want an urn that is big enough to comfortably hold the cremated remains, but not overly big so that it seems out of proportion. Urn sizes are given in cubic inches and approximately 1 cubic inch of volume will be need for each pound of body weight before cremation. If in doubt, it is best to choose one that is slightly larger rather than slightly smaller. Some people prefer to scatter part of the ashes and keep only a small portion. In that case a smaller urn may be preferable. Occassionally a customer will receive an urn and realize that it is not going to be the right size–too big or too small, or perhaps the color is different than expected. We want you to be happy with your choice and you are welcome to return or exchange it, for any reason, for a refund or another selection. The navigation bar at the upper-left will take you to individual style pages and the links above will take you to the pages of urns for different sized pets.
